Promoting land rights for ethnic minority people in Vietnam

The Action will contribute to the restoration of the rights of ethnic minority peoples in the northern, central coast and central highland regions of Vietnam to the community forest lands over which they have traditionally had access and control. It will do so through a two-pronged approach of garnering support from policy makers for recognition of ethnic minority rights in the forthcoming amendment of the Law on Forest Protection and Development; and of building the capacity of EM.
