To support communities/states selected by government to better understand climate risks, their impact on livelihoods and food security, facilitate participatory decentralized adaptation planning, implementation of concrete adaptation measures identified through community adaptation planning that will aim to combat desertification and land degradation and finally design and implement concrete adaptation measures identified through community adaptation planning that will aim to diversify and strengthen the livelihoods of the most vulnerable population.
