This Act makes provision for the payment of compensation for withholding of property by persons acting in collusion with tenants and for the recovery of non-paid rent. The Act also makes provision for the renewal of leases without the surrender of land.

This Act makes provision with respect to The Bahamas Mortgage Corporation which shall be instrumental in the granting of mortgages for the acquisition of real property by private persons. The Minister may make such Regulations as he or she deems necessary for carrying out the provisions of this Act.

This Act concerns legal proceedings and proof regarding the ascertainment or evidence of title in land or interest in any estate.The Act sets out the procedures for obtaining a certificate of title and the effects of a certificate of title. The Act also allows a person to request a court to investigate matters that may affect a title in land.

This Order specifies that all the provisions of the Town Planning Act, as amended, with the exception of section 7 thereof, shall apply to the Out Island districts and parts of districts which are specified in the Schedule to this Order. There shall be a local committee for each of the districts or parts of districts specified in the Schedule to this Order.

This Act prohibits the making of feigned conveyances of property including land. The Act also defines legal consequences of such fraudulent alienation of property declared void as against the creditors. Provision is also made for common recoveries by tenants in tail.

This Act makes provision for the appointment of the Director of Physical planning by then Governor-General, the constitution of the Town Planning Committee, grants powers to these institutions and the Minister in respect of town planning and provides rules relative to town planning. The Director shall be a technical adviser to the Minister and executive officer of the Committee.
