Ook is de prijs per hectare van grijze pacht hoger dan voor reguliere pacht. Het Pachtnormenbesluit van 2001 wordt dit jaar vernieuwd, zowel qua berekeningsmethode als qua hoogte van de normen.

Vast staat dat de rol van de provincie versterkt wordt met nieuwe instrumenten en dat de nieuwe Wro een antwoord probeert te zijn op de schaalvergroting in de ruimtelijke ordening. Voor natuur en landschap is dat gunstig omdat daarmee het keurslijf van te krappe (bestemmings) plangebieden wordt open gebroken. Voorwaarde is wel dat de provincies het nieuwe instrumentarium daadwerkelijk gaan gebruiken

It has been argued that the management of land, whether at the field, farm or regional scale, can benefit from computer-based land use system analysis. As a result, a large number of computer-based models and tools have been produced over the past decades with the aim of providing support to policy and management. Though there is still optimism about the potential of land use modelling to contribute to societal problem solving, a number of scholars perceive the impact as too limited.

De mogelijkheden van een gebiedsaanpak zijn in het kader van een Community of Practice verkend. Het doel om een gebiedsconvenant tussen overheden, intensieve veehouderij en terreinbeheerders op te stellen is niet gerealiseerd. Wel is een kader tot stand gekomen die voor toepassing in de toekomst of elders van belang kan zijn. Beerze Reusel kan daarom dienen als praktisch voorbeeld voor een gebiedsaanpak. The possibilities of a regional planning have been researched by a Community of Practice.

Clay is a common lithology in the Dutch shallow subsurface. It is used in earth constructions such as dikes, and as raw material for the fabrication of bricks, roof tiles etc. We present a new national assessment of Dutch clay resources, as part of a project that provides mineral-occurrence information for land-use planning purposes. The assessment is based on a 3D geological model, which consists of voxel cells with lithological composition as primary attribute, and has been obtained by interpolating data of more than 380,000 digital borehole descriptions.

The level of subsidies for OF in the Czech Republic is continuously increasing. In 1998, the total amount of subsidies was 48 million CZK, whereas in 2004, it increased to nearly 277 million CZK. The increase of subsidies led to an increase in the number of organic farms as well as the area under OF.
