These Regulations reform the law in Ghana with respect to the granting of timber rights and related matters. They (a) regulate the identification of land suitable for the grant of timber rights, (b) regulate the terms and conditions for small and large scale timber rights, (c) regulate other sources of timber, and (d) provide for a legality licensing scheme.The Forestry Commission shall identify lands suitable for grant of large scale timber utilisation contracts. These Regulations amend the Regulations made under the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 with respect to various matters, with various references to the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, 2011. Matters concern mainly documentation and certification. Regulation 30 on management rules as contemplated in section 35 (2) (a) of the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 and regulation 39 on arbitration are repealed.

This Order of the Cabinet Secretary implements provisions of the Land Registration Act in respect to the establishment and operation of land registration units as constituted under section 6 (l) of the Act. The Cabinet Secretary establishes registration units as set out in the First Schedule.

This Act amends the Local Government Act in provisions concerning land matters consequential upon the enactment of the Land Acquisition (Amendment) Act 2016 and the Land Act 2016. Also the word "Local Authority" is replaced by the word " Local Government Authority" wherever it occurs in the principal Act and provisions regarding the delegation of functions to committee by an Authority, the disposal of land, the designation of an area as a rateable area, the valuation of property, and charges on property. Three new sections are inserted in the principal Act (78A-C).

The land register referred to under section 7 of the Act shall contain (a) the property section; (b) the proprietorship section; and (c) the encumbrance section.
