This Article of the Agriculture and Markets Law of New York provides for sale of agricultural liming materials. "Agricultural liming material" is defined as all materials and all calcium and magnesium products in the oxide, hydrate, carbonate or silicate form or combinations thereof and intended for use in the correction of soil acidity, including such forms of material designated as burned lime, hydrated lime, carbonate of lime, agricultural limestone, slag and marl.
This Chapter of Division 2 of the Fish and Game Code of California, known as the Wildlife Conservation Law of 1947, establishes the Wildlife Conservation Board and a single and coordinated program for the acquisition of lands and facilities suitable for recreational purposes, and adaptable for conservation, propagation, and utilization of the fish and game resources of the State. The Chapter sets out conditions and procedures for land acquisition for wildlife purposes.
This Chapter of Division 2 of the Fish and Game Code of California creates within the Wildlife Conservation Board the Inland Wetlands Conservation Program. The purpose of the Program is to carry out the programs of the Central Valley Habitat Joint Venture. It is designated for use of the funds allocated pursuant to subdivision (f) of Section 2791, as enacted by the California Wildlife Protection Act of 1990. The Board shall administer the Program.
In the framework of corrective measures required to prevent continued degradation of natural and cultural resources throughout the Zuni Watershed in accordance with the Zuni Land Conservation Act of 1990, a study shall be conducted and a plan prepared by the Soil Conservation Service and Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs.
This Act directs the Secretary of the Interior, to review every roadless area of 5,000 or more acres and every roadless island within National Wildlife Refuge and National Park Systems and to recommend to the President the suitability of each such area or island for inclusion in the National Wilderness Preservation System. The National Wilderness Preservation System is to be composed of federally owned areas designated by the Congress as "wilderness areas". The Secretary of Agriculture must recommend suitable areas in the National Forest System.
This Act establishes a National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and prescribes the methods and standards through which additional rivers may be identified and added to the system. The Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to study areas and submit proposals to the President and Congress for addition to the system. It describes procedures and limitations for control of lands in Federally administered components of the system and for dealing with disposition of lands and minerals under Federal ownership.
This Act directs the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a program of land conservation and utilization in order to correct maladjustments in land use and thus assist in controlling soil erosion, reforestation, preserving natural resources, protecting fish and wildlife, developing and protecting recreational facilities, mitigating floods, preventing impairment of dams and reservoirs, developing energy resources, conserving surface and surface moisture, protecting the watersheds of navigable streams, and protecting the public lands, health, safety, and welfare.
