The topic about shared real estate and ownership of landed property has become important only in the latest years. In connection with the rise of estate tax, the land’s cadastre value and the lease of land, the contradictions have also become more aggravated in shared real estate’s situations, which had occurred at some point when land reforms and privatization took place.

In rural Bangladesh, most land is owned privately or by the government, and the common properties are very few. Instead, swamps were open to local communities and anyone has access to it.

Ownership of assets is important for poverty reduction, and women’s control of assets is associated with positive development outcomes at the household and individual levels. This research was undertaken to provide guidance for agricultural development programs on how to incorporate gender and assets in the design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions. This paper synthesizes the findings of eight mixed-method evaluations of the impacts of agricultural development projects on individual and household assets in seven countries in Africa and South Asia.

This study aims to understand the effective management of abandoned properties such as forest, farmlands, houses in depopulated areas in Japan. Specifically, this study focuses on 'absentee landlords' who own their property away from their current residence. Descriptive analyses of the Internet survey on absentee landlords who own properties in depopulated areas in Japan shows that the absentee landlords who cannot manage their forests properly also cannot manage paddy fields and houses properly.

The Cadastral System in Spain is divided in two organizations: the first one is Register of Property and the other one - Real Estate Cadastre. Both of them are joined with the purpose to get better legal information security and make easier the registration of the information for citizens. At the same time they follow the instructions of the European Infrastructure for Cadastral parcels (INSPIRE). Each parcel has an identification code and every alteration in that parcels should be registered by the different Cadastral declarations models.
