RegulacionesRusia, Kirguistán, Asia, Asia centralThis Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of land valuation with a view of establishment of the cost of forest land for the purpose of compensation of damages in case of use of plots of forest land for purpose not related to forestry and, in particular due to land expropriation, provisional land occupation or restriction of land ownership rights of forest land plots. Cadastre valuation shall be performed in relation to: (a) forest land plots without edifices, roads and vegetation; and (b) forest stand growing on a plot of forest land.

Authorization for transfer shall be issued in the following cases: (a) impossibility of land tenure in accordance with previously established purposeful use of land; (b) modification of the boundaries of inhabited (urban) areas; and (c) classification of land as protected area.

This Ministerial Decree contains complete mapping and description of the boundaries of both national parks.

Land-use planning in urban areas shall be exclusive competence of the local self-government that must ensure organization and implementation of land-use planning in accordance with sanitary norms and regulations. Land-use planning includes creation of green areas, amenity forests and protection forests in urban areas. Deployment of waterworks and urban irrigation systems shall be integral part of land-use planning activity.

RegulacionesKazajstán, Rusia, Asia centralThis Order establishes that transfer of unforested land to forested land within state forest fund shall be carried out by public forest owner in accordance with the modalities set by this Governmental Order. Felling areas, burnt forest areas, grassy glades and areas of dead vegetation shall be subject to transfer to forested land category after afforestation and reforestation arrangements or natural afforestation and reforestation. Transfer shall be carried out after inspection of the areas by the officials of the authorized forestry institution.
