This Rectification of Law No. 60/VIII/2014, having been published incorrectly on the Official Bulletin, establishes the legal framework for operations urban development, including the subdivision of lands, urbanization and utilization and conservation of buildings, rectified the parts that matters transfers of charges to the municipal area.

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding public and private land and community land (as defined respectively by Articles 62, 63, 64 and 260 of the Constitution), and in particular provides of the sustainable administration and management of land and land-based resources. It also provides for (compulsory) acquisition of land.
This Act grants powers upon the Minister to declare, in the interest of public safety or public order, protected areas in which access is limited to authorized persons. The Act also provides for measures of enforcement and protection of areas declared to be protected areas.

La présente loi détermine le statut du District Autonome de Yamoussoukro. Le District Autonome de Yamoussoukro est compétent en matière de protection de l'environnement; la planification de l'aménagement du territoire du District Autonome; la lutte contre les effets néfastes de l'urbanisation; la promotion et la réalisation des actions de développement économique, l'entretien du patrimoine et des biens domaniaux de l'Etat transférés au District Autonome; et les travaux d'équipement rural.
This Law approves the National Directive for Territorial Planning (DNOT). This Directive, consisting of 4 Sections, specifies the basic legislation for territorial planning and its management, as established by Legislative Decree No. 1/2006. The Directive is an instrument for the National territorial management, which establishes the legal spatial framework and defines the great options for the socio-economic development of the National territory.
This Act grants powers to the Minister to constitute Forest Reserves and lays down rules relative to acts in or in relation with such reserve. The Minister may constitute a Forest Reserve by Order published in the Official Gazette and may also direct, in the same manner, the cessation of a Reserve. Provisions of the State Lands and River Reserves Act notwithstanding, the President or the government may not sell, lease or mortgage land in Forest Reserves. Cutting down of trees or lighting of fires without a written permission of the Chief Agricultural Officer is prohibited.
This Act makes provision for the management and alienation of State land, for the appointment of forest rangers and for the protection of State lands and River Reserves.State land may be alienated by grant, sale or lease. State land may be sold by the President, with the exception of River Reserves belonging to the Republic. River Reserves are rivers and “rivulets” and adjacent areas listed in Schedule A to this Act. The Minister may, from time to time, add to or withdraw from the Schedule any watercourse.
This Act provides with respect to local government and local authority (i.e. a municipal, county, town or urban council) in Kenya. The Minister shall have the power to establish municipalities, counties or townships. Local authorities may enter into agreement between them for purposes of joint management and control.
This Law, consisting of 6 Chapters, establishes the legal regime for urban land planning. It specifies the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform any urban operations, including allotment, urbanization, construction and use and conservation of buildings. The Law is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (I); Preliminary inspection (II); Education and controls (III); Guarantee for individuals (IV); Taxes for urban works (V); Final provisions (VI).
