This Act consists of 7 Parts: Preliminary (I); Acquisition (II); Reference to an Appeals Board and procedure thereon (III); Apportionment of Compensation (IV); Payment (V); Temporary Occupation of Land (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).The Act provides a legal framework for the acquisition of private land by the government for the benefit of the public. Procedures and requirements for the acquisiton of land are set out in detail in the text. The Act further provides for the constitution of one or more Appeal Boards for the purpose of hearing appeals in respect of any award made by the Collector.
This Act concerns judicial sales of property including agricultural crop. It gives rules for the seizure and execution by way of sale. At any time, while the execution debtor remains in possession of the property seized, as judicial sequestrator, any creditor may obtain an order for the sale of part or of the whole of the crop of the said property. All sums of money which shall have been advanced by any sequestrator in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be a privileged claim on the crop of the property.
This Act establishes an office to be called the Public Trust Office and provides for the appointment of the Public Trustee. The Public Trustee shall be responsible for the management of the Public Trust Office. The Public Trustee may be appointed executor, administrator or trustee by trust instrument. The Act also defines the powers and duties of the Public Trustee in respect of land affected by a mortgage or security.
This Land Law, consisting of 14 Chapters, divided into 223 articles, establishes the legal regime for land management, in particular for constitution, exercise, modification, transmission and extinction of the right of land use and exploitation within the State of the Special Administrative Region of Macau, (called RAEM).
This Act lays down rules regarding the acquisition of property rights of agricultural and forestry lands, the institution of usufruct right on such lands, the use of land, the control on restrictions relative to the acquisition of land, and rules regarding local land commissions. This Act applies to all land in the national territory.
This Act provides for various aspects relative to dealings in land in Rotuma and provides for the appointment of the Rotuma Lands Commission. The Commission shall ascertain (traditional) land rights, resolve disputes relative to land rights, demarcate land and register land rights (sect. 4). All land found by the Commission to be un-owned shall vest in the Crown in trust for the Rotuman people, but shall not be considered to be Crown land. All moneys derived from such un-owned land shall be paid into the Rotuman Development Fund and be used for the purposes of that Fund.
This Law makes provision with respect to registration of title in land and effects of registration and provides for a wide variety of matters regarding specific title in land such as leases, charges, transfers, co-ownership and partition, trusts and transmission on death.The Law establishes a Land Register and requires the Governor to appoint a Land Registrar, the functions and powers of which are defined by this Law. The Land Register shall consist of a register of parcels adjudicated under the Land Adjudication Law and a register of each lease required by the Law to be registered.

This Act makes provision for the management of estates of a person who disappears without making provision for the administration of his or her estate. Relatives may apply to court for an order which appoints a manager for the estate of the missing person. The Act also makes provision for matters relating to administration and management of the estates such as powers of the manager and control of its operation, appointment of agents and intervention by the Administrator General.
