This Act, consisting of 274 Sections divided into eight Parts and completed by eight Schedules, regulates the property Land Law in the territory of Victoria. The Act includes also provisions on registration, dispute settlement, insurances and public auctions. It is divided as follows: Registration of Conveyances etc. Affecting Land other than Land Under the Transfer of Land Act Deposit of Documents (I); The General Law of Property and Conveyancing (II); Real Estates Liable for Debts. Effect of Judgments. Lis Pendens and Execution. Protection of Purchasers etc. Against Judgments etc.
The main purposes of this Act, consisting of 32 Sections divided into seven Parts and completed by 13 Schedules, are the following: to revoke reservations over various parcels of land; to revoke Crown grants and a Certificate of Title in relation to some of that land; to repeal the Burrumbeet (Russell Reserve) Land Act 1982; to provide for the revocation of part of the reservation of land at Albert Park and the re-reservation of that land; to provide for entry on and use of reserved land at Argyle Square for the construction and on-going use of a car park beneath that land.

This Act makes provision for the registration of title in land and defines effects of registration of title. The Act also provides other rules relative to dealings in land. Land in respect of which title has been registered under this Act may not be transferred, mortgaged, leased or otherwise dealt with, and an instrument that purports to deal with such land shall not be registered, except in accordance with this Act. Rights in land shall be registered with the Registrar of Titles of Norfolk Island.
This Act consolidates and reforms the law about the registration of land and interests in land. It consists of 220 sections and is divided into 14 Parts and completed by two Schedules. Under Part 2, the Registrar-General is required to keep a land register and has the power to hold inquiries and to demand fees. Part 3 is dedicated to the operation of the land registrar, Part 4 to the registration of lands, Part 5 to joint holders and Part 6 to transfer, leases, mortgages, easements and trusts.
This Act, consisting of 243 sections divided into fourteen Parts and completed by twenty-eight Schedules, provides for the consolidation of the law relating to the simplification of the title to and the dealing with estates in land in Western Australia. This Act does not apply to the registration of rights over land in respect of minerals, petroleum, geothermal energy or geothermal energy resources; or prevent or otherwise affect the system of registration under other Acts of mining, petroleum or geothermal energy rights in respect of land whether Crown, freehold or leasehold.
