    The Act provides with respect to the holding of rights in land and mortgages by foreigners in Grenada. It also provides for forfeiture of illegally-held land and shares of companies that do not comply with the provisions of this Act. The Minister may, if he or she thinks fit, from time to time, grant to any alien a licence to hold land as owner or tenant for any estate or interest either subject to any condition (or not) or grant to an alien a licence to hold land as mortgagee for any estate or interest therein.

    This Act concerns control of holding of interests in land in Montserrat by foreigners, i.e. a person other than a person who is deemed to belong to Montserrat under the provisions of section 2(2)(b) of the Immigration Act. The Act also provides for forfeiture of land and mortgages held by persons not belonging to Montserrat after commencement of the Act.

    This Act grants powers within Montserrat to the Consul, Vice-Consul, or Consular Agent of a State to administer the estate of a deceased person of such State. Such Consul, Vice-Consul, or Consular Agent shall immediately apply for, and shall be entitled to obtain from the Court, Letters of Administration of the property of the deceased person, limited in such manner and for such time as to the Court shall seem fit.

    This Act provides rules relative to the holding of land in Antigua and Barbuda by a person who is not a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda.“Non-citizen” is defined by the Act. No land or mortgage on land shall be held by unlicensed non-citizens but land may be acquired under a lease not exceeding more than five years. Licences to hold land or a mortgage in land shall be granted by the Governor-General. Land that is held in an unlawful manner shall be forfeited.

    This Act makes provision for certain aspects regarding debts of insolvent estates of deceased persons. It lays down rules for the administration of estates (by court), defines rights of secured and unsecured creditors in respect of an estate and provides that this Act shall not prejudice any lien, charge or other security that a creditor may hold for the securement of the debt.

    This Act formulates a duty of non-citizens to develop land held in ownership, grants powers to the Minister to declare land held by non-citizens to be underdeveloped land and imposes an annual tax on the value of such underdeveloped land.In determining whether a non-citizen is fulfilling his or her responsibility under the Act to develop agricultural land, regard shall be had to the extent to which and the manner in which: (i) pasture is being maintained; (ii) arable land is being cropped; and (iii) the land is stocked where it is being used for livestock farming.

    The Act regulates the holding of lands in Dominica by foreigners. "Alien" means a person or who is not a citizen of one of the Member States of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, including companies which are under the control or are deemed to be under the control of an alien (sect. 2).

    This Act provides rules relative to the holding of title and other rights in land by persons other than a permanent resident or other than persons acquiring land or an interest in land under a devise or by inheritance (“Non-Bahamian”) and makes provision for control by the State on the holding of title in land in the Bahamas by foreigners. Acquisition of land, other than by non-Bahamians, shall be registered with the Secretary of the Investments Board, which is established under this Act.
