This Regulation, consisting of 21 sections divided into six Parts and completed by five Schedules, establishes the requirements contracts for sale of land within the New South Wales territory.
The objective of the Planning Regulation 2017 is to prescribe instruments and address matters provided for under the Planning Act 2016, and provide the mechanics for the operation and implementation of the Act.
These Regulations, consisting of 16 sections and four Schedules, aim to the following objectives: (a) to restrict the activities of members of the public on licensed water frontages; and (b) to prescribe fees and forms for the purposes of the Land Act 1958; and (c) to provide for the issue of duplicate documents; and (d) to provide for other matters for the purposes of the Land Act 1958.
This Regulation, consisting of and one Schedule, establishes the requirements to be met for aboriginal land heritage.
The Regulation consists of the following Parts: Preliminary (1); Administration (2); Land Assessment (3); Sale, Lease or Other Disposal of Crown Land (4); Dedication and Reservation of Land (5); Miscellaneous (6). The application for consent to the transfer of land is subject to a recording under the following provisions of the Act: (a) section 36 (4) (a) (condition in contract for sale); (b) section 37 (2) (a) (conditions on a sale to a purchaser); (c) section 38 (a) (transfer restrictions on purchases); (d) section 44 (1) (a) (transfer restrictions on leases).
These Regulations implement the Land Acquisition Act 1969 by providing specifications on forms and procedures related to the acquisition of land (sects. 5-6) and on terms and conditions of tenancy (sect. 7).

The following requirements in relation to an application to pay land rent for a lease are prescribed: before the lease is granted, the applicant must have attended a land rent information session conducted by the Canberra Institute of Technology; the applicant must give evidence of the applicant’s attendance at the session to the authority.
