The present Decision provides for the approval of the Land Use Planning and for the development of industrial, touristic, infrastructural and housing projects in order to rehabilitate, recuperate and develop unused, public, agricultural and urban lands.
This Act provides for the urban and not only land development in Singapore, the responsibilities of the land tenants and owners, the planning of construction, restoration or building activtities, the imposition of land fees for the further use and exploitation of land in the territory of Singapore.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection, management and reproduction of urban forests with a view of creation of favourable environment for the population. The role of urban forests shall be as follows: (a) recreational, ecological, aesthetic, sanitary and other protection functions; (b) tourism and sport.
