   These Regulations make provision for the review of rent by Rent Assessment Boards. An application for review of rent may be made pursuant to section 5a of the Act to a Rent Assessment Board, constituted under the Rent Restriction Act, having jurisdiction over the area within which the land is located (reg. 3). The application shall be in the form prescribed by these Regulations and set out in the Schedule. A hearing shall be held, and upon decision of the Board, a certificate shall be issued to the applicant. (8 regulations completed by a Schedule)

   A review of rent may be made pursuant to section 5a of the Land Tenants (Security of Tenure) Act to a Rent assessment Board, constituted under the Rent Restriction Act, having jurisdiction over the area within which the land is located. This Order specifies the matters of which a Board shall take cognisance in undertaking a review.

   A lease of State lands that was registered under the Real Property Ordinance after 27 October 2000 but before the commencement of the State Lands (Amendment) Act, 2003: (a) is valid and lawful to the extent that it would have been valid and lawful had the Ordinance provided for such registration; and (b) shall continue to be treated with, in accordance with the Ordinance, and such treatment shall be valid and lawful to the extent that it would have been had the Ordinance provided for the registration of the said lease.

   The Minister may by Order in such form as may be prescribed, declare any area to be an adjudication area, from such date as may be specified in the Order (sect. 3). There shall be an Adjudication Officer who shall be an attorney-at-law of at least ten years The President shall appoint such Assistant Adjudication Officers, Demarcation Officers, Recording Officers and Survey Officers as may be necessary for the purposes of this Act.

   This Act establishes the Chaguaramas Development Authority and provides for its functions and powers, organization and management.The Authority is establishes as a body corporate and shall be responsible for the infrastructural development of the North-west Peninsula.The Minister may, in order to enable the efficient performance of the Authority, extinguish any public or private rights of way or easement over any land vested in the Authority. The Act prohibits any occupation or possession of land vested in the Authority without its consent.

The Act also makes provision for the distribution of estates under intestate and other administration or disposal of assets.    This Act empowers the Government Geologist and for any person assisting or employed by him or her to enter upon private land and to carry out geological survey. They shall not enter into or upon any enclosed yard, court or garden attached to a dwelling house without the previous consent of the owner or occupier thereof.

    This Act establishes a Land Survey Board under section 3. The Board shall be chaired by a Director of Surveys, the duties and functions of which are set out in section 11.Responsibilities of the Board are set out in section 5. The Director of Surveys shall be the custodian of the Survey Register in which surveys shall be entered (sect. 14). Other provisions of this Act concern qualification and registration of land surveyors and the practising of their profession.
