" Special terms and conditions on which State lands in Guyana can be obtained for the cultivation on a large scale of rubber, limes and other citrus fruit, cacao, coffee, fibres, coconuts, and other permanent agricultural products under the State Lands Act". The area described in the Schedule to these Regulations is declared to be a Special Development Area in the sense of the Land Utilization Act (Cap. 188). The type of development permitted includes agriculture, forestry, wildlife reserve and environmental protection. The Land Utilization Authority shall draw up a Development Plan for the area after consultation with such local persons and institutions as it may think fit. The Plan shall be submitted to the Minister of Natural Resources, The Environment and Industry for approval. The Plan shall be available for inspection to the public.
This basic enactment of the Palestinian Legislative creates a framework for the protection of the environment, public health and biodiversity in Palestine including marine areas. Its 82 sections are divided into 5 Titles: Definitions and general provisions (I); Environmental protection (II); Environmental impact assessment, licensing, inspection and administrative procedure (III); Penalties (IV); Final provisions (V). Article 1 contains an extensive list of definitions, including "natural reserves" and "international waters". Objectives of this Law are set out in article 2.

This Resolution, composed of two articles and one Annex, approves the management Plan of Albufeira de Santa Clara (POASC), including the regulation and zoning maps, and modifies accordingly the National Ecological reserve. The Attached Management Plan is composed of VI Chapters divided in 35 articles. It classifies land use allowed in the area covered by the Plan with the view of balancing natural resources and values with a sustainable land use.
This Order establishes the modalities for state monitoring of subsoil, which shall be an integral part of complex environmental monitoring. The main tasks of state monitoring of subsoil shall be: (a) collection of data and information on subsoil; (b) assessment of the state of subsoil and forecasting changes thereof; (c) registration of the stock of groundwater; (d) prevention of negative geological impacts; and (e) providing state bodies, organizations and subsoil managers with information regarding changes in the state of subsoil.
This Decree provides for the management and use of rice-farming land in rice-growing areas.The Decree provides for: the formulation and management of master plans and plans on rice-farming land; conditions for the change of the use purpose of wet-rice farming land and of other rice-farming land; responsibilities of users of rice-farming land and of land users that change the purpose of rice-farming land; protection and improvement of the quality of rice-farming land; support policies for the protection and improvement of rice-farming land; etc. Repealed by: Decree No.
This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 26 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, concerns authorization of activities as identified G.N. No. 879 that may have a detrimental effect on the environment in respect of the Pennington Sensitive Coastal Area and Umtamvuna Sensitive Coastal Area. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks. An application for a permit shall be made to local authorities and shall be accompanied by an environmental impact assessment.

FAO published its Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure (VGGT) of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security in 2012. The purpose of these guidelines is to serve as reference and to provide guidance to improve the governance of tenure of land, fisheries and forest with the overarching goal of achieving food security for all and to support the progressive realization of the right to adequate food in the context of national food security. The guidelines were translated into Lao and published in 2013.
