This Act makes provision for the administration of estates of deceased persons and the distribution of intestate estates. The estates of deceased persons shall be administered by an administrator appointed by the Supreme Court.
This Chapter makes provision for the administration of estates of deceased persons. The estates of deceased persons shall be administered in the Trial Division of the High Court, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such estates. Section 5 defines the priority for granting letters of administration of estates to relatives, creditors or persons appointed by the trail division of the High Court. Sections 6 and 7 concern qualifications of administrators and executors.
The Act provides that, notwithstanding anything contained in the Cook Islands Act 1915 or any other enactment or any order of any Court, no person shall be capable of leasing any land on any of the Motus Aitutaki set out in the Schedule to this Act. The prohibition shall not affect any interest in any land acquired prior to the commencement of this Act.

This Act concerns control of the transfer or otherwise granting of rights in customary land (as defined by the Constitution). It shall not be lawful to lease or license any customary land for any agricultural or pastoral purpose to any Samoan who is not for the time being holder of a Matai title.
This Act concerns the alienation of freehold to foreigners. Sections 4 and 5 define the application sphere of the Act with respect to alienation of land to foreigners. Where any alienation to which this Act applies is entered into, the transaction shall be deemed to be entered into in contravention of this Act, unless an application for the written consent of the Head of State to the transaction is made in writing to the Minister within 3 months after the date of the transaction or within such further time as may be allowed by the Minister.
This Chapter provides in respect of certain matters relative to the sale, gift, exchange, or any other method of disposal of land. There is created a Land Commission which shall endeavour to prevent the monopolistic ownership of land and undesired alienations of communal lands by those charged with the management and control thereof. For this purpose the Commission shall make recommendations to the Governor respecting the approval or disapproval of instruments affecting the title, ownership or possession of land which require approval of the Governor pursuant to section 4.
This Act makes provision for the conservation of nature and the protection of the environment in the Cook Islands. It shall apply to such parts of the Cook Islands and Cook Islands waters as are specified from time to time by the Queen's Representative by Order in Executive Council. The Act consists of 57 sections divided into 11 Parts.The Act establishes the Conservation Service as a body corporate.
This Act provides for the institution of “Conservation Areas”, i.e. areas declared to be such under section 3. Conservation Areas may include marine areas within the territorial sea, any terrestrial area including swamps, islets, reef flats, channels, sand banks and coral reef" in the territory of Tuvalu.
