Article 1 defines requirements and conditions for the possession and acquisition of lands and buildings by physical and juristic citizens from Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Article 3 deals with the transfer of the ownership of lands acquired in accordance with this Decree Law. Articles 5 and 6 pertain to the expropriation and registration of lands acquired by citizens of the GCC.

A Decree to provide for ownership, allotment, use, registration of residential land and houses by citizens of Viet Nam and leasehold by foreigners, and in relation to this the assignment of title, the issue of certificates, settlement of disputes and other matters. The State recognises and protects the lawful title to residential houses and lawful right to the use of residential land. All residential houses and land must be registered. The lawful owners are issued the certificate of residential house title and residential land use right.

LegislaciónRusia, Kirguistán, Asia, Asia centralThis Law establishes that agricultural land shall be exclusive property of the state and of citizens permanently living in rural areas for at least two years. Allotment in ownership and transfer of agricultural land shall be prohibited to: (a) foreign natural and legal persons, and foreign states; (b) stateless persons living on the territory of Kyrgyzstan; (c) legal persons of Kyrgyzstan and joint-ventures; and (d) married couples if one conjoint is foreigner or stateless person.
