This Law determines the main principles of realisation of the constitutional right of the Russian nationals to housing facilities in the new social and economic conditions and determines the general bases of legal regulation of housing relationship in the making of new forms of property and right of use of immovable property in the sphere of housing.
The present Law implements the Federal Act on acquisition of land by persons abroad of 16 December 1983.. Article 1 establishes that the acquisition of land shall be authorized if this serves as principal residence. The purposes of the present Act are to enable the Sechelt Indian Band to establish and maintain self-government for itself and its members on Sechelt lands and to obtain control over and the administration of the resources and services available to its members. Section 5 establishes that the Sechelt Indian Band is hereby established to replace the Indian Act Sechelt Band.

The present Act is a piece of companion legislation to the Federal Sechelt Indian Band Self-Government Act and provides for provincial recognition of the Sechelt Indian Government District. The ministry is responsible for section 4, which makes the district eligible for municipal benefits. This Decree establishes the Mahogany Industry Council and provides for the continuation of the Fiji Mahogany Trust, which was established as a body corporate under section 5 of the Fiji Mahogany Act 2003 for the benefit of landowners and the Fiji Hardwood Corporation Limited, transformed into a privatised Company for the purposes of developing the mahogany industry in Fiji, including the harvesting and processing of mahogany forests.
The amendments of the Rota Agricultural Homestead Act concern the designation of homestead areas by the Board of Public Lands. Designated lands shall be allotted to qualified persons for purposes of farming. Those persons shall have the right to acquire title upon the fulfilment of conditions prescribed in the principal Act.

This Law, consisting of 23 articles, establishes the legal regime for the on selling, legitimacy of occupation and concession of right of use for rural public lands and occupied territories belonging to the Federal District and to the Rural Estate Company of Brasília TERRACAP. It specifies that the Federal District and TERRACAP are authorized to the above mentioned activities related to rural public lands, which will be harmonised, according to the National Plan of the Agrarian Reform and to the Agricultural Policy, as established by the Federal Constitution.
