   The aim of this Law is to regulate land registration in Dubai. This Law is composed of 11 Chapters divided into 29 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the scope of application and rights of ownership. Chapter 3 contains general provisions. Chapter 4 provides for the jurisdiction of the Department of Lands and Properties. Chapter 5 and 6 pertain to land register, registration and recording. Chapter 7 provides for alterations or corrections of records in land's register. Chapter 8 refers to maps. Chapter 9 addresses dividing and merging.

   The present Law regulates general rules of transfer of municipal land into ownership, land tenure and lease with the consideration of the particulars of its management, and legal relations in the sphere of its tenure and conservation. The Law consists of 6 Sections that contain 28 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-5) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 6-11) establishes the particulars of transfer of municipal land into ownership, land tenure and lease.    The present Law establishes types and rates of registration fees envisaged in accordance with legislation on registration, as well as the modalities and terms of their collection. Ministry of Internal Affairs is authorized to carry out registration of hunting firearms. Ministry of Agriculture is authorized to carry out registration of export and import of agricultural commodities, animal feedstuffs and pesticides. State Department of Land management is authorized to carry out registration of all types of land relations. The Law consists of 9 Articles.

   The scope of Land Code shall be to regulate land relations originating from application of different types of land ownership rights, including duties of landowners, tenants, leaseholders, protection of land rights, application of rational land tenure, restoration and improvement of soil fertility, land re-cultivation and improvement of natural environment. Land property shall envisage public, municipal and private ownership, that have equal status and are equally protected by the Law (Art. 4).

   The present Law regulates conditions and modalities of ownership, use and disposal of immovables as well as relations regarding other rights relayed to immovables. Relations connected with use and conservation of soil, subsoil, forests, vegetable kingdom and wildlife, water, airspace, territories on which monuments pertaining to cultural heritage are situated are regulated by the present Law and other legislative acts of the Republic of Armenia. Legal status of immovables regards also marine, fluvial-marine and fluvial vessels subject to compulsory state registration.

   This Law regulates state registration of property rights, the general principles of which shall be: (a) state protection of registered rights to property; and (b) the accessibility, objectivity, updating and centralization of cadastre data. State registration shall be implemented by a unified state cadastre system of real estate, which shall be a national public administration body authorized by the Government and its territorial branches.

   The purpose of this Legislative Decree is to regulate the appropriation of lands and buildings in Bahrain by citizens of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. This Legislative Decree is composed of 11 articles. Article 1 defines the requirements and conditions for appropriation of lands and buildings in Bahrain by physical persons of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Article 2 allows the appropriation of more than two lands only by obtaining previous authorization by the Government of Bahrain. Article 5 deals with the transfer of property.

    This Law focuses on the reorganization of landownership subject to agricultural land projects. It provides for ways to compensate landowners for expropriation and gives indications concerning the recording of land. It is the duty of the Lands and Appropriation Committee to notify the corresponding Real Estate Registration Department.
