An Act to amend the Western Lands Act 1901 with respect to the recognition of public and other roads, the assessment of annual rents and the constitution and functions of a Western Lands Advisory Council. Amendments to the Act are to be found in the schedules: Amendments with respect to public roads and rights of way; Amendments with respect to rent; Amendments with respect to Western Lands Advisory Council; Provisions with respect to constitution and procedure of Western Lands Advisory Council; Miscellaneous amendments; Amendments by way of statute law revision.
This Act, consisting of 52 sections divided into eleven Parts and completd by five Schedules, provides for the to establishment of an appropriate system of land tenure for the Western Division, for the establishment of a formal access network, by means of roads and rights of way, in the Western Division, for the definition of the rights and responsibilities of lessees and other persons with respect to the use of land in the Western Division and aims at ensuring that land in the Western Division is used in accordance with the principles of ecologically sustainable development.
An Act amending Acts and amending provisions are subject to automatic repeal pursuant to sec 30C of the Interpretation Act 1987 No 15 once the amendments have taken effect. This Act, consisting of 231 sections divided into eight Chapters and completed by two Schedules, aims to establish an efficient, effective, transparent, integrated, coordinated, and accountable system of land use planning (planning), development assessment and related matters that facilitates the achievement of ecological sustainability.
This Statement outlines agreed objectives and policies for the future of Australia's public and private forests. The Governments share a vision of ecologically sustainable management of Australia's forests. This vision has a number of important characteristics: 1) The unique character of the Australian forested landscape and the integrity and biological diversity of its associated environment is retained. 2) The total area of forest is increased. 3) There is a 'holistic' approach to managing forests for all their values and uses so as to optimise benefits to the community.
The objective of the Planning Regulation 2017 is to prescribe instruments and address matters provided for under the Planning Act 2016, and provide the mechanics for the operation and implementation of the Act.
This Act amends several provisions established for managing Crown land within the territory of New South Wales. Amendments consists in repealing Schedule 1; amending Schedule 2 on legislation referring to reserve trusts (such as: Betting and Racing Act 1998 (No. 114) and Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2013 (No. 105); Schedule 3 on legislation relating to Crown roads; and Schedule 4 on other related legislation.
