This Chapter provides for selected matters relating to ownership of immovable property. Subject to certain exceptions, it declares that only citizens of the state of Pohnpei or corporations wholly owned by citizens of the state of Pohnpei may hold title to land in the state of Pohnpei. It refers to a provision of article 12 of the Pohnpei Constitution relative to acquisition of permanent interest in real property.
The Act requires landowners to register Africans residing on their estate for the purpose of growing any economic crop for sale or performing any agricultural work. “African” means any person who is a member of an African community indigenous to Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia or Mozambique. This Act shall not apply to any African who is in occupation of land on an estate by virtue of a valid lease or tenancy agreement for a period of not less than two years.
This Act concerns the alienation of freehold to foreigners. Sections 4 and 5 define the application sphere of the Act with respect to alienation of land to foreigners. Where any alienation to which this Act applies is entered into, the transaction shall be deemed to be entered into in contravention of this Act, unless an application for the written consent of the Head of State to the transaction is made in writing to the Minister within 3 months after the date of the transaction or within such further time as may be allowed by the Minister.

The purpose of this Act is to provide for the regulation of property rights in Prince Edward Island, especially the amount of land that may be held by a person or corporation. Section 2 establishes the maximum land holdings, section 4 concerns land holdings by persons who are not resident in the Province. Section 6 is dedicated to land holding permits, their effects and requirements. Other provisions concern access to information (sect. 10), enforcement (sect. 12), offences (sect. 13) and investigation (sect. 15).
La presente Ley en primer lugar declara de interés general la preservación y defensa de la soberanía del Estado uruguayo en lo relativo a los recursos naturales y en especial a la tierra. En este sentido la Ley prohíbe la compra y tenencia a cualquier título con finalidades de explotación agropecuaria en todo el territorio nacional a empresas extranjeras o instaladas en el país en las que participe directa o indirectamente un Estado extranjero. This Chapter places restrictions on the holding of land by foreigners in the State of Chuuk. It prescribes that only citizens of the Trust Territory or corporations wholly owned by citizens of the Trust Territory may hold title to land in the Trust Territory provided that the right, title, or interest of non-citizens or their heirs or devisees, in lands in the Trust Territory held by such persons prior to a specified date shall be safeguarded.
In implementing the provisions of Article 47, paragraph 2, of the Constitution, this Law establishes the subjects which may be permitted to acquire into ownership non-agricultural land plots for conducting in Lithuania activities provided for in this Law; conditions, procedure and restrictions in compliance with which the subjects established by this Law may acquire into ownership a plot of land; grounds for determining the size of the land plot being acquired into ownership.
The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the appropriation of lands by foreigners. The present Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 defines the zones and areas in which foreigners (physical or juridical persons) can appropriate lands in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Articles 2 and 3 specify the conditions and requirements for the appropriation of lands by foreigners.
