This Act makes provision for the planning of the Australian Capital Territory and the management of land in the Territory.
These Regulations provide for: (a) the form in which applications made under subsection 61[2] of the Act are to be made, and (b) the servicing of documents in relation with legal proceedings. An application under subsection 61[2] is an application for the determination of native title made to the Registrar of the National Native Title Tribunal. They are amended by giving new rules for the exemption of fees for the granting of applications and the inspection of Registers. Regulation 17 which provides for the calculation of fees is replaced by a new regulation.
This Act, consisting of 41 sections and completed by two Schedules, provides also for the management of the land vested in Aboriginal Corporations.The sections of this Act are divided into 7 Parts: Preliminary (I); Vesting of Condah Land and Framlingham Forest (II); Management of Condah land (III); Management of Framlingham Forest (IV); Mining (V); Trust Funds (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).On the commencement of this Act, Framlingham Forest, shall be vested in the Kirrae Whurrong Aboriginal Corporation.
The first and second Schedule to this Act set out amendments to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975: offences (sect. 38); preparation , amendment and revocation of plans of management by the Marine Park Authority (new Part VB); search powers of inspectors (sect. 46); penalties (various sections); and other matters. The Authority may prepare plans of management for: (a) one or more areas of the Marine Park; (b) one or more species in the Park; (c) one or more ecological communities within the Park (sect. 39X).

This Act makes provision in respect of the granting rights in traditional aboriginal land in the Northern Territory to aboriginals.
The Act provides for funding and administrative arrangements relating to natural resources management, with the primary objective of facilitating an integrated approach to such management that is efficient, sustainable and equitable. Part 2 deals with financial assistance from the Commonwealth to a state or to "other persons" for projects relating to natural resource management, and sets forth the various requirements for the agreements which govern such assistance.
This Act consist of 7 Parts divided into 41 sections: Preliminary (1), Administration (2), Approved Property Plans (3), Project Areas (4), Objections and Appeals (5), Financial Assistance (6), General Provisions (7). The Act vests powers in the chief executive of Primary Industries relating to soil conservation to facilitate the implementation of soil conservation by land holders. The main instruments are property plans, run-off coordination notices, project plans for project areas and soil conservation orders.
The Act, consisting of 63 sections divided into 6 Parts and completed by one Schedule is composed as follows: Preliminary (I); Administration (II); Licensing and Registration (III); Surveying (IV); Establishment of Land Boundaries (V); and Miscellaneous (VI).

The Act (22 sections) provides for the coordination of surveys and the establishment of a central plan office at the Department of Lands for the recording of surveys, plans and related information. To this end, the Surveyor-General is given powers to ensure coordination of surveys and the Act, and a central plan register is established. Public authorities are to give notice of intention to commence new surveys to the Surveyor-General. The Surveyor-General shall have the power to require connection of proposed surveys to existing surveys, permanent marks etc.
