The present Law introduces some amendments to the Tyrol Land Transaction Law 1996 (LGBl. No. 61). In particular, the Law amends article 4 dealing with companies and cooperatives working predominantly in the field of agriculture and forestry. The text consists of 2 articles.

The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters delegated by the Foreigner's Land Acquisition Act and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof. The text consists of 7 articles as follows: Purpose (1) ; International Organizations Subject to Report on Land Acquisition Contracts (art. 2); Report on Land Acquisition (art. 3); Management of Report on Land Acquisition (art. 4); Permission Areas of Land Acquisition (art. 5); Land Acquisition by Means of any Cause other than Contracts (art. 6); Imposition of Fines for Negligence (art. 7).
These Regulations, made under section 77 of the Agricultural (Commercial) Land Reform Act, establish the form application for the consent of the Minister of Lands, Resettlement and Rehabilitation in terms of section 58 of the Agricultural (Commercial) Land Reform Act, 1995 (consent to Acquire Agricultural Land or to enter into an Agreement for Occupation or Possession of Agricultural Land by Foreign National).

This Act concerns control of holding of interests in land in Montserrat by foreigners, i.e. persons other than a person belonging to Montserrat (as defined in section 2(2)(b) of the Immigration Act). Subject to the provisions of this Act, neither land in Montserrat nor a mortgage on land in Montserrat shall, be held by a person not belonging to Montserrat, and any land or mortgage so held shall be forfeited to Her Majesty.
The present Law implements the Federal Act on acquisition of land by persons abroad of 16 December 1983.. Article 1 establishes that the acquisition of land shall be authorized if this serves as principal residence. The text consists of 11 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Cantonal license reasons and restrictions (I); Licensing and complaint authorities (II); Licensing and complaint procedures (III); Fees (IV); Final provisions (V).
The Parliament establishes that until 30 April 2014 purchase of agricultural and forest land by foreigners shall be prohibited and purchase and sale contract related to purchase of agricultural and forest land by foreigners shall not be concluded.
The present Act sets out a series of measures which are designed to respect the acquisition of farmland by non-residents. It contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as "acquisition", "agriculture", "public road", "commission", "lot", "farm land". Thereafter the text deals with territorial application, control of the acquisition of farm land, application for registration of the acquisition, penalties and general provisions.
The Act provides with respect to the holding of rights in land and mortgages by foreigners in Grenada. It also provides for forfeiture of illegally-held land and shares of companies that do not comply with the provisions of this Act. The Minister may, if he or she thinks fit, from time to time, grant to any alien a licence to hold land as owner or tenant for any estate or interest either subject to any condition (or not) or grant to an alien a licence to hold land as mortgagee for any estate or interest therein.

Conflicts in theGreat Lakes Region are highly interlinked,with political and military alliances, refu-gee movements, and ethnic solidarities ty-ing the fates of the countries of the re-gion.
Two major innovations have inter alia emerged from the land reform in Madagascar: (i)
decentralised land management through the creation of local land offices, and (ii)
certification, which enables individuals to register private property provided the community
agrees on the legitimacy of the claimed rights.
