This Act regulates matters relative to construction and execution of wills and inheritance of estates of deceased persons. It defines the right to dispose of property by will and defines procedures of and restrictions on inheritance.
This Act established the Leases Approval Tribunal and amends the principal Act accordingly in section 3 (approval of Leases Approval Tribunal required for leases) and section 10 (dispute resolution). Section 9A empowers the Tribunal to consider an application to approve a lease that has not been executed by every party to the lease, but only if the Registrar of the High Court notifies the Tribunal in writing that he or she believes that the lease should be approved.

This Act continues the Samoa Trust Estates Corporation. The functions of the Corporation shall include: (a) to control, manage, and develop as trustee for and on behalf of the people of Samoa: (i) the assets of the Corporation vested in it; and (ii) any other assets that the Corporation may have acquired or may acquire, whether real or personal, and (b) to ensure the efficient and prudent agricultural, horticultural, pastoral, industrial, commercial or other development of its lands, assets and other enterprises.
A new Part (VIA) on easements is inserted. An "easement" is defined in section 112A as "a right annexed to land to utilise other land of different ownership in a particular manner (not involving the taking of any part of the natural produce of that land or of that land or of any part of its soil) or to prevent the owner of the other land from utilising his land in a particular manner". The same section declares the following rights of easements permissible: (a) right of way; (b) right to convey water; (c) right to drain water; (d) right to drain sewage.
Section 140 of the Principal Act is deleted and replaced with the following: "(1) Any party may, upon payment of the prescribed fee, appeal from any order or judgment of the Court: (a) if the order or judgment relates to the determination of hereditary estates or titles, to the Privy Council pursuant to Clause 50 of the Constitution; (b) in every other case, to the Court of Appeal. Any such appeal shall be made in such manner as may be prescribed by rules of court within 42 days of the date of the order or judgment appealed.
The purpose of this Chapter is to provide for proper development planning so as to safeguard public health, the environment and economic growth and well-being in American Samoa. There shall be a Zoning Board. In order to carry out the purposes and provisions of this Chapter, areas within the territory of Samoa are divided into ten zones, amongst others, an Agricultural Zone, a Watershed Conservation Zone and a Recreation Conservation Zone. For each zone permitted activities are specified.
This Act of New Zealand, consisting of 24 Parts and three Schedules, provides for matters of government of the Cook Islands, for various matters of general law of the Cook Islands and for the administration of various matters relating to public and private land.The Act provides for the institution of Island Councils and the High Court of the Cook Islands. It defines criminal offences and prescribes criminal procedures.
This Act amends provisions of the Cook Islands Act, 1915 with respect to the alienation of native land. Subsection (2) of section 475 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting, the words "the High Commissioner" and substituting the words "an officer of the Land Court approved in writing for the purpose by the Secretary of Justice". Section 482 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing subsection (3).

This Act repeals specified provisions of the Cook Islands Act, 1915 in the manner indicated in the First Part of the Schedule to this Act and various amendments listed in the Second Part of the Schedule to this Act. The amendments to the principal Act concern, among other things, proceedings and other matters of the Land Court and proceedings with the High Court and the alienation of native land.

This Act provides for the establishment of Tribunals and defines proceedings and procedures before such Tribunals in relation to so-called small claims, i.e. claims relative to contracts or established rights not exceeding a specified amount. The Act further provides for enforcement of decisions and appeals against decisions of a Tribunal established under this Act.The primary function of a Tribunal is to attempt to bring the parties to a dispute to an agreed settlement.
