This Act provides for revoking certain areas as parts of State forests and flora reserves and transforming them in national parks or including them in existing national parks.
This Act, consisting of three Parts completed by eight Schedules, provides for the transfer of certain lands, including certain state forests, to the national park estate or to aboriginal ownership. The borders of the areas transferred are indicated in the schedules attached to the Act.
This Regulation implements the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 by providing specifications on the procedure for the revocation, appropriation and resumption of state recreational areas.

This Act provides for the establishment and organization of the Aboriginal Lands Trust.
This Act grants power to the Minister to classify any site of historical, ethnological or artistic interest which is in the possession of any person or body corporate domiciled in Vanuatu. The Minister shall inform in writing the owner of any site which it is proposed to classify. The owner may submit to the Minister any representations. Failing to do so shall be taken as indicating the consent of the owner to the proposed conditions of classification.
These Regulations implement the Heritage Act by providing specifications on the discovery of archaeological places and objects (sect. 4), heritage assessment criteria (sect. 5), revocation of declaration (sects. 6-7), approval of perform works on heritage places (sect. 8) and approval to destroy or demolish heritage places (sect. 9).

It contains provisions on access to the recreational areas, camping, lighting fires, water, littering, the use of vessels and vehicles and on related offences and penalties.

This Act provides for the institution of “Conservation Areas”, i.e. areas declared to be such under section 3. Conservation Areas may include marine areas within the territorial sea, any terrestrial area including swamps, islets, reef flats, channels, sand banks and coral reef" in the territory of Tuvalu.
The purpose of this Act is to authorize the granting of public land for Aboriginal cultural and burial purposes. The Act provides for the closure of roads in the areas (sect. 4), extinguishes existing rights on the land (sect. 5), prohibits the sale of land (sect. 7) and states that no compensation is payable by the Crown in respect of anything done under or arising out of this Act (sect. 9).
