This paper analyzes the land market in republic of Moldova. Since its independence in 1991, the land market has a tendency to be used for agricultural purposes.
Also, the country is described au agricultural economy which is the main reasou why the focus of this study is ou land prices for agricultural purposes.
Currently, most Republic of Moldova agribusinesses operate in areas leased from the owners land. The operations on land lease from farms is met less frequently as it causes a range of problems - from issurance of documents and determination of the lease payment to the accounting for expenditure and income. Fair and prompt settlement of these issues is imperative of time and can contribute greatly to extend lease operations and make more efficient the use of land.

The rapid growth of China’s economy since the reform in 1978 should be largely attributed to urbanization. Nonetheless, in terms of farmland productivity, urbanization may lead to perverse incentives and thus threaten food security. On the one hand, the requisition–compensation balance of farmland (RCBF) policy could reduce farmland productivity because of a “superior occupation and inferior compensation”; on the other hand, urbanization promotes the transfer of the younger labor force and thus reduces the productivity of the agricultural labor force.

This study analyses land rental relationships in Slovakia, including legal rental regulations, and identifies the impact of certain factors, such as the European Union Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) payments, and geographical and economic factors on land rental prices.

Effective determination of the parameters of the dynamics of forest succession in areas used for agriculture is the basis for understanding the phenomenon of land cultivation abandonment. Understanding it allows to implement a proper policy limiting the negative effects of giving up agricultural production. There are many methods to determine forested areas. The most popular group of the methods includes those that rely on the use of LiDAR data.
