In particular, the Law amends, inter alia, article 9 on Obligation to declare; article 10 on Exceptions to the obligation to declare; article 20 on Auctions; article 23 on Notification requirements; article 25 on Issue of authorizations; article 37 on Authorization according to other state laws. The text consists of 2 articles.

Dentro de los 50 km de las fronteras nacionales, ningún extranjero podrá adquirir ni poseer propiedades inmuebles por ningún título, con la excepción del caso de necesidad nacional declarada mediante ley expresa.

   The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to the various terms therein employed, such as "land", "building land", "building permit", "foreigner", "planning permission", etc. Part 3 regulates in particular the transfer of agricultural and forestry land and the requirements for its conversion into building land. Furthermore, it outlines the conditions and procedures for acquisition of land by foreigners. Part 3 establishes the competent authorities and, in particular, various Land Commissions.

   These Regulation pertain to the ownership of agricultural and recreational land in Alberta. Under section 4, no ineligible person or foreign controlled corporation shall take or acquire, directly or indirectly, an interest in controlled land – which is land in Alberta but does not include (a)land of the Crown in right of Alberta, (b) land within the boundaries of a city, town, new town, village or summer village, and (c) mines and minerals. The Regulation further specifies which are the percentage of foreign ownership that are allowed (sect. 13).

   A Decree to provide for ownership, allotment, use, registration of residential land and houses by citizens of Viet Nam and leasehold by foreigners, and in relation to this the assignment of title, the issue of certificates, settlement of disputes and other matters. The State recognises and protects the lawful title to residential houses and lawful right to the use of residential land. All residential houses and land must be registered. The lawful owners are issued the certificate of residential house title and residential land use right.

   This Act grants powers within Montserrat to the Consul, Vice-Consul, or Consular Agent of a State to administer the estate of a deceased person of such State. Such Consul, Vice-Consul, or Consular Agent shall immediately apply for, and shall be entitled to obtain from the Court, Letters of Administration of the property of the deceased person, limited in such manner and for such time as to the Court shall seem fit.

Le titre I - Dispositions générales - définit l'Etat comme gardien de toutes les terres et comme garant des droits dérivant de la propriété. Les interventions de l'Etat pour assurer un usage rationnel des terres ou pour tenir compte des impératifs de la défence ou des options économiques seront fixés par décret. Le titre II porte régime de la propriété privée.

    This Act makes provision with respect tenure of land in the Western Area of Sierra Leone by non-citizen, i.e. any individual who is not a citizen of Sierra Leone, and any company, association or body of persons, corporate or incorporation if which more than one half of the members directly or indirectly are not citizens of Sierra Leone.
