RESUMEN Este trabajo analiza la influencia de algunas características espaciales sobre los precios por noche de casas rurales en Gran Canaria. Se estimó para ello un modelo de precios hedónicos que incluye en su formulación ciertos atributos espaciales de la casa, tales como el número de vecinos en un radio determinado. Estas variables fueron calculadas por medio de un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG). También se analizaron otros factores incluidos tradicionalmente en estos modelos, como las características estructurales de la casa y la distancia a lugares de interés.

Faced with a new global paradigm of achieving the Sustainable Development goals by 2030 and especially on the issue of soils, goal 15.3, which says: “By 2030, fight desertification, rehabilitate degraded lands and soils, including lands affected by desertification, drought and floods, and seek to achieve a world with neutral soil degradation. ” In this regard, it is clear that the international community has taken up the sustainability approach as a “bet” to somehow remedy the problem of the degradation of the Earth's resources, and thereby create a better future.

Agricultural water use in agrarian economies is often state subsidized for the enhancement of agricultural productivity while poverty alleviation is also targeted. The Indian agricultural dependent states offer representative examples of undervalued irrigation services mainly sourced by canal networks. However, the current inefficient operation of canal irrigation systems diverts water demand to private initiatives by significantly increasing economic value of agricultural water.

The Act defines the procedures and criteria of valuation of property including land. There shall be various kinds of valuers, i.e. a valuer of urban land, a valuer of rural land or a valuer competent for both kinds of land. Land valuers shall be registered in accordance with this Act in the Register of Valuers.

This Act provides rules for the valuation of real property and requires the Minister to appoint for each parish a Board of Assessment. The Board shall have full power to assess the value of any property in respect of which any assessment has not been accepted and is in dispute. If the Commissioner of Inland Revenue or any person affected by the assessment of the Board is dissatisfied in any respect with the assessment it shall be lawful to appeal to the Revenue Court and the decision of such Court shall be final and binding.
