This Directive, consisting of 4 Sections, specifies the basic legislation for territorial planning and its management, as established by Legislative Decree No. 1/2006. The Directive is an instrument for the National territorial management, which establishes the legal spatial framework and defines the great options for the socio-economic development of the National territory.

    This Presidential Decree, consisting of 2 Chapters, regulates the expropriation regime of public coastal lands designated to infrastructures and support equipments for beach facilities on the entire coastal area up to the maritime zone (excluding harbours and military areas) and the land protection area with a maximum width of 500 metres, transferring the competencies to the private domain of the respective Provincial Governments.
