The present Act provides for rules relative to land use planning and development in the province of Quebec. It contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as “alienation”, “commission”, “cadastral operation”, “minister”, “public agency”, “core city”.
This Proclamation aims at improving management and utilization of land and land resources for agricultural purposes in the Southern Nations, Nationalities And Peoples' Regional State. It applies to all land that lies outside of municipal borders. The Proclamation defines the right to acquire, free of charge, rural land by peasants, pastoralists and semi-pastoralists engaged in agriculture and the equal rights of women with respect to land and provides for the protection of such rights.

The Code regulates the land relations on the territory of Armenia and intends to provide effective land use and maintenance, environmental protection and improvement, creation of conditions for equal development of all economic forms based on a variety of property, preservation of rights of citizens, enterprises and organizations, and at legal reinforcement of the rule of law in the sphere of land relations (Preamble). This Law regulates the public relations and legal and organizational issues related to the implementation of the land reform in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. Land reform is carried out so as to provide for the redistribution of the land in order to create the necessary conditions for equal in rights development of various forms of economy on the land, the formation of versatile economy, for the determination of the rates of the fees for land, and the rational use and protection of the lands at the territory of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
The main objects of the Act are: (a) to provide for the recognition and protection of native title; (b) to establish ways in which the future dealings affecting native title may proceed and to set standards for those dealings; (c) to establish a mechanism for determining claims to native title; and (d) to provide for, or permit, the validation of past acts invalidated because of the existence of native title (sect. 3).The text of the Act consists of 253 sections, preceded by a preamble and divided into 15 Parts.
