This Act, consisting of 10 Chapters, aims at seeking to achieve ecological sustainability by managing the process by which development takes place, including ensuring the process is accountable, effective and efficient and delivers sustainable outcomes, managing the effects of development on the environment, including managing the use of premises and continuing the coordination and integration of planning at the local, regional and State levels.
This Regulation provides for the implementation of the Aboriginal land Act 1991. The Regulation is divided into 8 Parts (56 regulations) and is completed by 5 Schedules. Part 2 provides for the incorporation of claims for Aboriginal land, Part 3 deals with land trusts and Parts 4 and 5 specify, respectively, the powers of the Supreme Court on matters related to Aboriginal land and the decision making process for the granting of Aboriginal land.
This Regulation provides for the implementation of the Acquisition of Land Act 1967 by prescribing the fees applicable under section 9 of the Act.

This Act provides for the construction and repair of dividing fences, i.e. a fence separating the adjoining lands of different owners, whether the adjoining lands are wholly or only partly separated thereby and whether the fence is on the line of or, in an appropriate case, on a line on the common boundary of the adjoining lands or on a line other than the line of or a line on the common boundary, or partly on any one of those lines and partly on the other or others (sect. 6).
This notice, consisting of six sections, provides for making of survey standards and establishes that the survey standards contained in each of the following documents have been made by the chief executive under section 6 of the Act: (a) the document called ‘Survey Requirements for Mining Tenures, Version 2.0’; (b) the document called ‘Cadastral Survey Requirements, Version 6.0’.

The Act provides for the management and protection of the Queensland coastal zone, including its resources and biological diversity. This Regulation implements the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995. It fixes coastal building lines, it sets fees and royalties as prescribe by the Act, and it specifies work that is prescribed tidal work. The Regulation is completed by 5 Schedules, respectively on local governments, fees for allocation and dredge management plans, royalties payable for the removal of quarry material, IDAS codes for development aplications for prescribed tidal work, and dictionary.
The Act provides for the management of the territory of Torres Strait and for the support to communities residing in the area; it consists of 85 sections divided into 11 Parts. The chief executive is the officer responsible for the administration of the Act. Part 3 provides for the creation of island councils, which are body corporate responsible for the management of council areas. Their operation, functions and powers are regulated under the Act.
This Regulation, consisting of 38 sections and divided into five Parts, provides for the grant of land as Torres Strait Islander land. It contains the procedure for the granting of transferable land as Torres Strait Islanders land and provides about land trusts (including payments to members, land trust to indemnify members and immunity of members); code of conduct about mining leases; mining royalties; Declaration; and Repeal and transitional provisions.
