   This Legislative Decree, composed of 50 Chapters, approves the basic Order on Urban and Spatial Planning. In particular, it provides a classification of land comprised under the national territory and defines the basic principles undergoing spatial planning and management. Particular attention is paid to the institution of an integrated management system involving national and local administrations, as well as the provision of framework contracts as urban planning tools.

   This Decree-Law, composed of seven articles, authorizes the concession of the right to use public maritime land located in the Island of Santa Maria. The Decree-Law defines the possible private uses arising from the concession and the rights and obligations of the beneficiaries of the concession.

   This Act makes provision, in 22 Chapters, for the management and conservation of forest resources of Liberia, defines ownership rights and other rights in forests, provides for the protection of the environment and wildlife in forests, regulates the trade in forest products and provides for various other matters relative to forestry and wildlife.Chapter 2 defines rights in forest resources in Liberia and grants the right to the Forestry Development Authority to lease out forestry land.

   This Decree-Law, composed of 7 articles and several Annexes, declares of public interests for energy supply purposes some land defined and zoned in the Annexes. The aim is to allow the national electricity company, ELECTRA SA, to install the necessary infrastructure for supplying electricity in the area comprised between seven cities. The Decree rules on expropriation and compensation procedures. The Annexes provide geographical coordinates, and a map of the interested areas for tracing the infrastructure.

   This Law, composed of 4 articles, authorises the Government to define the legal status of land thus revising former Law No. 2030 of 22 June 1948. In particular, the Law provides the framework under which the Government shall revise the former system.

The Act does not apply to mineral oils. The Governor-General may close areas closed for prospecting. Prospected or mining is limited further under section 8.
