   This Act amends the Tinian Agricultural Homestead Act by ratifying all actions taken in conformance with the provisions of sections 1 to 6 of Public Law No. 6-15 and related law, and all permits or other instruments issued, executed, or delivered in conformance therewith and otherwise in compliance with Commonwealth law and by blocking any challenge, defence, claim, remedy, cause of action, or other right, based on section 7 of Public Law 6-15 arising from such action.This Act also repeals and reenacts a section on the designation of Homestead Areas, i.e.

   This Act amends the Village Fono Act by inserting a new section 2A stating the objects of the Act and by inserting provisions and amending other provisions on the registration and administration of villages and the limitation of jurisdiction of Village Fono (in particular in respect of Government, freehold or leasehold land located within village land). A new section on structures and activities on village land for community purposes is also inserted.

   This Chapter provides for certain matters relating to title in land. The owner of any land in American Samoa, not previously registered, may register his or her title thereto with the Territorial Registrar, but no title shall be registered unless the Registrar is satisfied that there is no conflicting claim thereto and unless the description clearly identifies the boundaries of the land. Every registration shall specify whether the land is registered as family owned communal land or individually owned land.

   This Act amends the Tokelau Act 1948 with respect to matters of legitimacy of the right of inheritance. The provisions of legitimacy: (a) insofar as it affects wills, shall have effect only in relation to the wills of testators who die after the passing of this Act; and (b) insofar as it affects instruments other than wills, shall have effect only in relation to instruments executed after the passing of this Act.

    This Act amends the Tokelau Act 1948 with respect to the administration of Tokelau as a non-self-governing territory under the Charter of the United Nations. It defines responsibilities of New Zealand and elders of Tokelau. The Act:(a) confers on the General Fono a power to make Rules for Tokelau; (b) provides that any such Rules may be disallowed by the Administrator of Tokelau; (c) amends the Tokelau Act 1948 as it relates to the sources of law for Tokelau and the jurisdiction of Tokelau Commissioners; and (d) makes other amendments to the Tokelau Act 1948 and its amending Acts.
