An Act to make provision for the valuation of land; to establish the office of Valuer-General; to provide for the appointment of contract valuers; and for other purposes.
This Act, consisting of 83 divided into seven Parts and completed by two Schedules, makes provisions on the valuation of land in New South Wales and it establishes the office of Valeur-General for the purpose of administering the Act. The Act is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Contract valuers; Valuation of land; Valuation and rolls; Notice and objections; Appeals to Land and Environment Court; Use of valuation lists; Use of valuations by government departments; Special arrangement; Miscellaneous and Parliamentary Joint Committee.
