The present Law enforces the Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).The specific purpose of the Law is to create the legal framework for the geo-data infrastructure in Brandenburg being part of the national geo-data infrastructure. In particular, the Law shall ensure that such data are: a) sustainable, up-to-date and of first quality; as well as b) simply and easily accessible.

Law on the official valuation of land and security right (Valuation and Security Right Law).

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the official land valuation and security right over real property. Article 1 establishes that the Executive Council shall elect for the constitutional term of four years a Valuation Commission. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: Official valuation (I); Security right over real property (II); Final provisions (III).

This Act provides rules relative to the exploration for and the exploitation of mineral resources and related matters such as the protection of the environment and the use of water resources.This Act declares all rights of ownership in minerals to be vested in the Basotho nation. Mineral rights may be acquires and exploited in accordance with this Act. The Act sets out restrictions on the acquisition of mineral rights. Mineral rights are: a prospecting licence; a mining lease; a mineral permit for small-scale mining operations (together: "mineral concessions").

This Law is composed of 13 articles. Article 1 decrees desert lands a private State property. Article 2 deals with the following matters: appropriation of desert lands before the issuance of this Law shall not considered an acquired rights of disposal or decision nor compensation either real rights on these lands; all tribunals, judicial committees and cadastre judges shall abstain from examination, decision, valuation and judgment in complaints and denunciations related to desert lands (Albadeya); and, stopping registration of desert lands.
