This Law provides for acquisition of private land by the States Treasury Department on behalf of public bodies for purposes of public interest. The law sets out procedures for such acquisition (by compulsory purchase order) and compensation to the former owner.
This Regional Law regulates relations concerning ownership, tenure and disposal of plots agricultural land and also land share in common property. Minimum consolidated agricultural land plot area shall be no less than one ha.

This Law regulates relations concerning ownership, land tenure, and disposal of agricultural land. It establishes terms and conditions for allotment of plots of agricultural land pertaining to state and municipal property, and also the modalities of expropriation thereof in regional and municipal ownership. Agricultural land shall be used exclusively for agricultural production.
This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of turnover of agricultural land, including privatization thereof that shall be performed within the period of three years from the date of entry into force of this legislative act.
Article 6.1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Plot of agricultural land allotted on lease on condition of permanent (open-ended) land tenure as a result of renewal of lease contract or renewal of the right of hereditary possession of such land with the right of lease can be purchased in ownership by lease holder at the cost of 15 percent of cadastre value of such plot of land”.
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the process for landowners and conservation organizations to protect private lands through conservation easements. For the pupose of the present Act a «a conservation easement» is the result of an agreement between a private landowner and a designated conservation organization.
