This Act amends the Native Lands Ordinance in section 4 so as to give persons who have lost their lands as a result of a fraud the opportunity to challenge title acquired under subsections (1) or (2) of section 4 and and to prove fraud in a Lands Court.

This Law establishes legal grounds and the modalities of state registration of rights to immovable property and encumbrances, and also transactions related thereto with a view of recognition and protection by the state of registered rights, encumbrances and transactions. This Law shall be applicable to registration of rights related to land plots.
The present Regulations are made under the Lands Act. In particular, the Regulations provide for the control of development activities in the St. John’s Urban Region.
This Law contains provisions on: contents of land books; cadastral survey; cadastral territorial units and their specific zoning; land sorting capability (including agricultural land evaluation); maintenance survey; process for the establishment, management and maintenance of national land register; and various other rules governing the rights and obligations of land tenure/land concession hold
This Regional Law regulates relations concerning turnover of agricultural land within plenary powers pertaining to the jurisdictional competence of the regional administration. Privatization of agricultural land pertaining to regional state or municipal property shall begin from 1 January 2004. Minimum consolidated agricultural land plot area shall be two ha.
This Law defines the provisions regarding the land survey and the public real estate cadastre, including various administrative and technical issues, procedural matters, data collection and registration, additional mapping rules and financial aspects and requirements.The Law is divided into IX Chapters and 212 article, including the offences and related penalties.
The scope of this Regional law shall be to ensure the right of citizens with three and more children for acquisition free of charge in ownership of the plots of land pertaining to state or municipal property.
This Regional Law establishes that the prices of plots of urban land destined for agricultural production in ownership by agricultural organizations or peasant farms allotted thereto on condition of permanent (open-ended) land tenure or as life-long hereditary possession shall be established with 15 percent reduction in relation to its cadastre value.
This Regional Law establishes that plots of public land can be allotted to natural and legal persons in ownership or in lease, in case of availability of free land areas, for use for specific purposes in accordance with purposeful classification of land.
