En el presente trabajo se aborda el estudio de la relación que se establece entre los procesos migratorios internacionales con el mercado de tierras en 4 organizaciones ejidales de Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato. Se plantea a lo largo de esta investigación que existe una relación entre la migración hacia los Estados Unidos y el desarrollo histórico y social de las organizaciones ejidales, la renta y/o venta y la valoración de las tierras entre las generaciones de ejidatarios y sus familias. El marco teórico conceptual se fundamentó en teorías y enfoques teóricos en torno al fenómeno migratorio como las redes sociales de migración y categorías socioeconómicas, tales como: ejidatarios, crisis agrícola y estructura agraria. Finalmente se concluyó que el proceso de migración entre los ejidatarios y sus familias desde 1940, sustentado por las redes sociales de migración; por un lado, reconfigura y contrapone la apreciación y valoración de la tierra entre las generaciones de adultos mayores y las de jóvenes; y por el otro, incentiva más la renta que la venta de tierras. _______________ INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AND LAND MARKET. A STUDY IN 4 EJIDOS OF VALLE DE SANTIAGO, GUANAJUATO, MÉXICO. ABSTRACT: This research is focused on the relationship established between the international migratory process between ejidatarios and their relation with the land market in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato. All along this investigation it was stated that there is a relation between the migration to United States and the historical and social development of the ejido organizations, the rent, the selling and the value of lands between the ejidatarios generations and their families. The framework was focused on theorical approaches for migration phenomenon such as social networks and socioeconomic categories like ejidatarios, agriculture crisis and agrarian structure. Finally it was concluded that the migration process is a tradition between the ejidatarios and theirs families since 1940, it is supported by the social networks; situation that on one side, reconfigures and contrast the assessment and value of land between the young and on the oldest generations; and the other hand, it gives advantage to rent of lands.
