FWLD

Rural Women Development Centre

Rural Women Development Centre (Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra) is a well-established NGO with the primary focus on education rights and socio-economic empowerment of marginalized and disadvantaged girls and women. It also aims to minimize various forms of injustice and prejudices by striving for an equal and a just society.

Na ocasião, o art. 1º, §1º dessa lei atribuiu ao conselho personalidade jurídica própria e o subordinou diretamente à Presidência da República. Posteriormente, a Lei nº 6.129, de 6 de novembro de 1974 transformou o Conselho Nacional de Pesquisas no atual Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico e reformulou sua configuração jurídica, atribuindo-o personalidade jurídica de direito privado, sob a forma de fundação.

L’agence d’urbanisme Rhône Avignon Vaucluse (AURAV) est une association Loi 1901 créée le 4 octobre 2004. Elle fait partie de la Fédération Nationale des Agences d’Urbanisme (FNAU).

L’AURAV a pour objet la définition de projets de territoires ou d’aménagement à différentes échelles, du quartier à l’aire urbaine d’Avignon en passant par l’échelle communale et le Département de Vaucluse. Elle intervient dans les territoires urbains, périurbains et ruraux.

Afghanistan Women Council

Afghanistan Women Council (AWC) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit, non-sectarian Charity Organization founded in 1986 by the efforts of Ms. Fatana Ishaq Gailani and a group of Afghan women with an aim to assist Afghan women and children. The predominant objective of the organization is to enlighten women, improve their living conditions and strengthen their socio-economic status in society by their multi-lateral involvement in development activities. AWC is registered with the Government of Pakistan and Afghanistan as a charity NGO.

Afghanistan’s Women’s Network

After the United Nation Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, China, where a group of women from various organizations and agencies of the United Nation participated; the theory to form a network for the Afghan women's cooperation and integration developed. With inspire from women's movement in different part of the world; finally, in 1995 participants (women) of the conference decided to establish Afghan Women Network (AWN).

LANDnet Uganda was founded in 2012 as a Network engaged in Research, Capacity Development and Policy Advocacy on Land, Gender, Agriculture and Natural Resources Management. Because of the role LANDnet is envisaged to play in the political economy of Uganda and the East African region, it is registered as a company Limited by guarantee.

Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan

Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) is a charity and not-for-profit organization founded in 1998 to advance education and educational opportunities for Afghan women and their families and to educate Canadians about human rights in Afghanistan. Our four main field program areas include: (1) Investments in Basic Education; (2) Community Libraries, Literacy and Books Program; (3) Technology for Education; and, (4) Public Engagement. A AS-PTA – Agricultura Familiar e Agroecologia é uma associação de direito civil sem fins lucrativos que, desde 1983, atua para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar e a promoção do desenvolvimento rural sustentável no Brasil. APWLD developed from dialogues among Asia Pacific women lawyers, social scientists and activists, which began at the 1985 Third World Forum on Women, held in Nairobi, Kenya. The women participating in the dialogues recognised that while law is used as an instrument of state control over resources, rights and even women’s bodies, it can also be used to help effect political and socio-economic changes in our societies.
