This Act makes provision with respect to a deed of trust to be held by an independent authority for purposes of guaranteeing the repayment of debt and for the execution of such deed of trust and the transfer of property in the case the debt remains unpaid. The Act defines requisites and conditions for the sale of property and other rights in relation with the (execution of) a deed of trust.

This Chapter makes provision with respect to public land in the State of Yap. Its purpose is to designate the State Government to hold title to and manage and dispose of public lands within the State in trust for the people of the State. It also provides for conveyance of lands to the State Government.

This Chapter sets out conditions and procedures for non-judicial foreclosing on the property of a debtor by the creditor. The Chapter sets out when and how a creditor may take possession of the property with or without notice, but only if this can be done without breach of the peace. The Chapter sets out procedures for the sale of the property.

This Act makes provision with respect to the management and administration of public lands. The Act establishes a division within the Department of Land and Natural Resources for the management and administration of public lands and transfers the Pohnpei Public Lands Trust to this division.

This Act requires the Pohnpei Public Lands Trust Board of Trustees to identify and convey specified land to the Government of Pohnpei. The State Government Land Use Plan Master Plan Map,” is hereby adopted as the zoning map for the purposes of this Act.
