This Law provides for the taxations of transactions involving rights in land as defined by this Law. It also provides for exemptions, payment of tax, reduction or remission of tax and proceedings for the recovery of tax. The States may, by Regulations, specify transactions to which this Law does not apply.
This Law enables the National Trust for Jersey to enter into agreements with persons willing to accept restrictions on the development or use of land in which they hold rights. The Trust shall have power to enforce such agreement or covenant against entitled persons with respect to adjacent land.
This Law abolishes any rule of customary law affirming that a contract passed before the Royal Court for the transfer of immovable property may be annulled, at the instance of the heirs or devisees, as the case may be, of the transferor, if he or she dies within 40 days of the passing of the contract.
This Law provides rules for the making of wills and other matters regarding inheritance. It provides, among other things, that in every collateral succession on intestacy, whether to movable or immovable estate, the rule by which the paternal side excludes the maternal side in equality of degree is abolished.
This Order makes provision for the publication applications for planning permission made under article 9 of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002. Any representation in respect of a planning application must be provided to the Minister within a specified period of time.

This Order prescribes, in Schedule 1, proposed development requiring an environment impact statement for the purpose of Article 13(1)(a) of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002. In Schedule 2 to this Order, information that must be included in environment impact statement is specified.

These Regulations are made under the Agriculture (Loans and Guarantees) (Jersey) Law 1974, which grants power to the States to provide for lending of money for prescribed agricultural purposes.
This Order provides general rules and specifies permitted development for articles 8(3)(a) of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002. That provision empowers the Minister to grant, by Order, planning permission in respect of a class or classes of development specified in Schedule 2 Order.
