This Order stipulates that, for the purpose of carrying out preventive, protective and rehabilitative measures, forests polluted by radionuclides shall be classified according to: (a) soil pollution density of Caesium-137; (b) soil pollution density of Strontium-90; and (c) other types of dangerous radioactive pollution. Preventive and rehabilitation measures shall ensure: (a) radiation inspection of forests; (b) radiation monitoring of forests; (c) radionuclides content control of forest resources; (d) radiation content control of all forest products; and (e) regulation of forestry operations in accordance with radioactive pollution levels. Forests polluted with radionuclides shall be classified as category one for forest fire protection purposes.
