This Law, consisting of 2 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes the structure of the Institute for Land and Agricultural Reform (ITERAL). This institution, under the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Supply and Fisheries (SEAP), will perform the following activities: enacting the State agricultural policy, promoting the recognition of legitimate land ownership; mediating agricultural conflicts; offering technical and social support to indigenous communities, conducting training on new agricultural techniques; designing maps; establishing rural and urban cadastres; technical management of natural resources; etc.
