The present Regulations are made under the Territorial Lands Act (R.S. 1985, c. T-7). In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to various conditions that may be included in a land use permit. Sections 8 and 9 of the Territorial Land Use Regulations list activities that require either a Class A or a Class B land use permit and, therefore, an environmental assessment.
