    The purpose of this Resolution is to define the requirements and conditions for obtaining a licence for the division and partition of lands. This Resolution is composed of 2 Chapters divided into 7 articles. Chapter I deals with matters related to licences and in particular with: (a) licences which shall be issued by the Ministry of Housing; (b) applications for licences shall be submitted to the Survey Department accompanied by the necessary documents and certificates; and (c) the Natural Planning Department shall prepare the land division. Chapter II contains general provisions.

    This Resolution is composed of 13 articles. Articles 1 to 3 deal with the scope of application of this Resolution and define except activities from it. Articles 4 to 6 provide for procedures, documents and competent authorities for submitting applications related to arranging and settling lands activities. Article 7 entrusts the Prefects (Governors) to issue licences for aforementioned activities after the approval of the Ministry of Environment–High Council of Stone Quarries.

    This Ministerial Resolution Law is composed of 15 articles. Article 1 prohibits the establishment of buildings, facilities or the division of lands outside boundaries of urban cordons approved for villages and cities, with the exception of projects for agricultural production and livestock, as well as agricultural lands on which built private houses or facilities.

Articles 9 and 10 define the zones for taking away the following materials: (a) pebbles and stones; (b) soil for agricultural purposes and poultry breeding; and (c) land and marine sand.
