LegislationPakistan, Asia, Southern AsiaThis Act provides for the disposal of land by Development Authorities. Development Authorities shall prepare housing schemes by categorizing land in residential, commercial, industrial and public amenity plots (sect. 3). In the housing schemes, the land shall be disposed of as provided for in section 4. No public utility area or public amenity plot in a housing scheme shall be converted to any other use (sect. 5). Penalty provisions are given in sections 6 and 7.
