Ainsi un Plan d’Investissement de la Stratégie Nationale REDD+ a été élaboré pour la période de 2018-2025 qui sera mis en œuvre sur la base d’une synergie intersectorielle appropriée, au regard des interventions sectorielles accrues que suscitera la mise en œuvre des projets.

    À Madingou, la question de la gestion foncière se pose avec acuité, car le développement des espaces urbains empiète sur les terres dévolues à l’agriculture périurbaine. Ce phénomène reconnu par les autorités municipales et les populations est à la fois à l’origine de la croissance anarchique de la ville et au rétrécissement préoccupant des superficies agricoles périurbaines. L’objectif de cette étude est d’analyser l’impact de la gestion foncière sur l’agriculture périurbaine à Madingou. Elle est réalisée entre janvier et mars 2017.

    This guide presents the 'Mapping for Rights' approach, which combines participatory mapping techniques, facilitation and hands-on support with the application of relevant and available technology. This combination of tools, guidance and equipment enables communities to identify advocacy goals that their maps could support. The maps are designed to provide a snapshot of the communities’ reality, including information on their history and socio- economic situation and demonstrate occupation and use of specific areas by communities.

    Sapelli (Entandrophragma cylindricum) and tali (Erythrophleum suaveolens) are among the most important timber
    species harvested from Congo Basin forests. They also host edible caterpillars, Imbrasia oyemensis and Cirina
    forda, respectively, which are important to the nutrition and income of rural and urban populations. This study
    evaluated the density of these tree species within a 10 km radius around each of 4 villages and in the 2012
