    These Rules prescribe the form of a notice requiring either the attendance of any person as a witness before a Board of Assessment or to produce any document before the the Board, and provide for the procedure of delivery of such notice. They also stipulate that, except as otherwise provided by the Act or any rule made at any time under section 31(1) thereof, the proceedings before the Board shall be conducted in accordance with the practice and procedure observed in the High Court in its civil jurisdiction with such variations as circumstances may require.

    This Order, made under section 16 of the Customary Courts Act, specify in the Schedule provisions of enactments customary courts shall have jurisdiction to administer. Enactments include the Branding of Cattle Act (Cap. 36:02), the Matimela Act (Cap. 36:06) and the Tribal Land Act (Cap. 32:02).

    These Regulations stipulate that a conveyancer or a notary public shall, in respect of any conveyancing work done by him or her, charge the fees and disbursements set out in the Schedule hereto in relation to the matters specified therein. Fees concern, among other things: the lodging of a Deed of Transfer; any conveyancing work done by him or her with respect to the lodging of mortgage bonds; notarial bonds; lodging a Deed of Hypothecation.

    This Order delegates the functions conferred on the President by section 11 (2) of the Tribal Land Act for the purpose of giving directions of a general or specific character to any land board in the formulation of policy relating to the exercise of its functions under the Act, to the Minister of Lands and Housing.

    This Order, made under sections 7(2) and 12(5)) of the Customary Courts Act, establishes and recognises the customary courts listed in the First Schedule. It also defines their jurisdiction in civil and criminal cases and, for certain courts, courts also defines jurisdiction in respect of stock theft.

    This Order of the President made under section 19 of the Tribal Land Act, 1968, establishes the Subordinate Land Boards set out in the Schedule to this Order and defines the composition and functions of these Boards. These Boards shall have jurisdiction in their respective specified areas or villages. Functions shall be transferred from Subordinate Land Authorities to the Boards and include decision making regarding ploughing of land, grazing of cattle, and communal uses of land.

    This Order specifies the areas to which the Fencing Act applies. These areas are areas specified in the second and third columns of the Third Schedule to this Order in relation to the tribal territories and tribal areas specified in the first column of the Third Schedule, other than any land board or any area designated for communal use in any tribal territory or tribal area specified in the first column of the Third Schedule.
