    An Act to provide for the procedure by which a private landowner who has no reasonable means of access to a public highway may apply for leave to construct a road of access to a public highway and for other purposes connected therewith.

    This Act prescribes that, where the owner of any land is unable through negotiations to obtain leave from adjoining landowners to construct a road of access to the public highway, he or she may apply to the land tribunal for leave to construct a road of access over any lands lying between his or her land and the public highway. The tribunal shall serve a notice on the owner of land affected and shall organize a hearing. An order of the tribunal to grant access for the construction of roads may be revoked upon application by an owner of adjoining lands.

    This Act regulates the use of farm equipment, i.e. any movables used for agricultural purposes on any agricultural land acquired for resettlement purposes under the Land Reform Programme, and provides for the control of use of farm equipment. Section 3 prohibits wilful destruction of farm equipment without the permission in writing of the acquiring authority (sect. 2).

    This Act provides rules for acquisition land in the public interest, including compulsory acquisition, and related matters such as claims to compensation, examination of land and the taking possession of land, registration of interest in land and (effects of) withdrawal from acquisition. Where the Minister is of the opinion that it is necessary to acquire any land in the public interest and that there is reasonable justification for causing any hardship to any person who has an interest in the land, the Minister may acquire that land in accordance with this Act.

They include: particulars to be furnished under section 5(3) and 5(4) of the Act; Claim for compensation under section 12; Notice under section 9(2) of an owner whose lands is compulsory acquired under section 6.

    This Act amends the Constitution of Zambia by repealing the Preamble and replacing Part I (Supremacy of the Constitution), Part II (National values, principles and economic policies), Part IV (Citizenship), Part V (Representation of the People). Parts from VI to XIV are also repealed and replaced. New Parts from XV to XX are inserted.

    This Act regulates the right of use of public and private lands of the Overseas territories. It consists of 33 parts specifying the conditions to be satisfied, in order to exploit occupied and non-occupied land for different uses. It establishes the requirements to be met in order to benefit from a land concession, or to obtain a permit for land leasing.
