    This Act amends Act No. 109/88 on Agrarian Reform. It consists of amended articles defining new principles in order to manage this sector and promote agricultural development: land expropriation requirements, agricultural land use, land rights, land concession, land lease, land inheritance, protected zones, etc.

    This Act provides for the use of public uncultivated lands. It consists of 42 articles specifying the requirements to be met in order to exploit these lands, establishing the conditions for land expropriation, concession, use, etc. It lays down duties, competencies and composition of national administration responsible for the management of these lands, fees to be paid, land lease, etc.

    Repealed by: Law No. 75/2017 establishing the regime on uncultivated lands and other community productive lands. (2017-08-17)

    Most of the Mediterranean woodlands in Spain, Portugal, and California are managed as agrosilvopastoral enterprises, producing some combination of livestock, wood, cork products, and crops, as well as wildlife habitat and diverse environmental services. Private amenity benefits to landowners have been suggested as an explanation for high land prices and the persistence of such rangeland enterprises despite apparently marginal cash returns.

    The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) - currently ratified by 187 countries - is the only human rights treaty that deals specifically with rural women (Art. 14). Adopted in 1979 by the United Nations Generally Assembly, entered into force in 1981. The Convention defines discrimination against women as follows:

    This Council of Ministers Resolution approves the Urban Planning of Management (Unit 1 - UP 1) from 'Ferragudo' to 'Calvário', within the Municipality of Lagoa. It defines the conditions to be satisfied in order to use urban and non urban land, and consists of 3 chapters establishing general provision (chap. 1); zoning (chap. 2); and other provisions (chap. 3). the Annex lists a map with the geographical limits of the aforementioned area.
